Neat and clean looking homes are what we wish for every day. But in this fast pace life, it is difficult to take out time to deep clean the house or maintain the uncluttered look for long. So here are three simple, fast and efficient ways to uncluttered looking homes:
1. Make your Bed:
The bed occupies the significant part of your bedroom, so why not start here. Making your bed first thing in the morning will give you instant gratification in less than five minutes. Keeping in tune with my previous post which gave ideas to utilize space under your staircase creatively and efficiently (Read it Here), I now have interior design ideas with loft beds which can double up the space you have.
Loft beds can be especially useful if your are living in studio apartments or wish to have a dual use of same space. Loft beds can free up the ground plane giving you more flexibility of use.
If you are having a hard time being creative, you are not alone. There are “good days” for creative people, and then there are “not so good days” for the creative people.
By good days I mean, when ideas are flowing in, you have more design ideas than you actually require. Your brain is all charged up. Basically, life is good. But then, there are not so good design days too. The days when there is a shortage of ideas, and you are struggling to come up with a single design. You end up sitting at the desk for hours at a stretch, but nothing works. You are having difficulty to please you, client or boss.
Yes, we all have been through it. It’s part of a designer’s life, right? But what can you do to overcome the drained and anxious feeling you have on “not so good” design days? How can you be more creative and come up with decent ideas?
