8 Indoor Plants to Improve Your Quality of Life (Part 1)

Ever wondered if the plants you placed indoors can be more than just for beautification? Yes, indoor plants can improve your quality of life in many ways. Here I’m listing the eight plants that can be grown indoors to give you beauty with many other benefits.

1. Lavender:

Lavender is an aromatic herb which purifies the air. It is known to reduce stress and anxiety, as well as slow down your heart rate. Lavender oil is extensively used, but why limit to just that when you can plant Lavender indoors and take its benefit all through the day and night. The lavender plant will make your place feeling fresh, relaxed and purified. It also repels insects.
Care & Maintenance:
Lavender grows well in hot and dry conditions, so make sure the pot has good drainage with slightly alkaline soil and is placed in a sunny location (ideally towards a south facing window). The best part is that you can propagate lavender from plant cuttings.
